According to this article at BuzzFeed, hospitals can be limited and may offer tests for sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancy, completely skipping over date rate drugs. Additionally, even when tests are administered, they don't always present accurate results and can be skewed by existing prescription drugs. According to BuzzFeed, "America’s system for date rape drug testing [after the fact] is riddled with flaws."

Have date rape test kits with you, including our coasters. Stay vigilant and use the buddy system. If the worst happens, it may be too late to get the forensics you need.
